Combined Art Work - Picasso

An artwork by Picasso was divided into 8 parts. The students each took a part and completed it in their own particular style. We then put the artwork back together.

Works in Progress

One of the drawing exercises we do is to draw the image a little at a time and upside down. The accompanying images tell the story.

Art Works

The Drawing Group at Cornucopia have been together since July 2005. Students started as beginners. Since July we have covered the basics of drawing using pencil, pen & ink, wash. We have also ventured into painting using watercolour, watercolour pencils and some acrylic. We have limited area to work - so large scale painting is out. And not wet area to speak of!

At the begining of the year we ventured into collage and had the most creative results. The images of these works speak for themselves.

The standard of drawing and creativity is extremely high. We are planning to showcase our work mid year. But since I have discovered blogspots - I thought I would put display some of the works here in cyberspace.

It has been very rewarding working on this art program here at Cornucopia and as a TAFE Outreach teacher working in the community the opportunity to exhibit works in this way is tremendous.
