Exhibition October 2007
Students in the art program have been working on mixed media this term. We started the term making monoprints and then continued with using glazing mediums and layers of tissue paper in addition to using impasto medium to achieve texture in our works. It has been a time of discovery of What happens when I do this or What happens when I add this to my painting. All students agreed it was a great time of creative energy.
This coming October students works will be exhibition at the Cornucopia Cafe, which is situated in the Grounds of Gladesville Hospital. Commencing October 8th 2007.

Drawing & Painting in 2007
Painting & Drawing Classes have continued at Coruncopia during 2007. During first term students concentrated on their drawing skills. Using various media from pencils, pastels to ink and pen. When the weather cooled down we went outside to sketch the waterviews and surrounding landscapes. Students were keen to learn how to draw the clouds to how to create perspective using various techniques such as colour, tone, texture and composition.
Term II starts 23/4/2007. The first class will start off with mixing colours and creating a colour wheel. We will move on to using acrylic paints.
The plan is to select some drawings from term I to exhibit at the Cafe. Stay posted for updates and pictures.
